Selah Terms of Service.

By accessing or using Selah ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Selah is an AI companion for reading the Bible and reflecting on Scripture. It provides: • A calm reader for the Bible, available offline in multiple public-domain translations • An "Ask" feature that searches Scripture and returns a grounded, cited reflection • Saving of verses and tracking of your reading progress • Optional sign-in and cloud sync of your Ask history

IMPORTANT: Selah is an AI companion. It leads you to Scripture; it does not replace it, and it does not claim any spiritual authority of its own. Selah's reflections are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for personal study and reflection only. They are NOT: • A substitute for the guidance of a pastor, priest, spiritual director, or faith community • Medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice • A crisis or emergency service If you are in distress or crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. AI-generated commentary may contain errors or omissions; always weigh it against Scripture itself and trusted counsel.

Bible verse text in Selah is quoted verbatim from public-domain translations and licensed sources. Scripture text is not generated by AI. Translations are provided for reading and study; where traditions differ in interpretation, Selah aims to present the range rather than a single view. The AI reflection is clearly separated from Scripture and is the only part generated by the Service.

Selah can be used fully offline without an account. If you choose to sign in (anonymously, or with Apple or Google) to sync your Ask history, you agree to: • Keep any third-party sign-in credentials secure • Not share your account in a way that abuses the Service • Notify us of any unauthorized use at support@y7technology.com You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

You agree to: • Use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes • Not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the Service or its backend • Not use automated means to send excessive requests to the "Ask" feature, which incurs paid AI costs • Not use the Service to harass, harm, or violate the rights of others • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Selah is free to use. We may offer optional paid features or subscriptions in the future. If paid plans are offered: • Fees are billed through in-app purchase on the store you downloaded Selah from — the Apple App Store or Google Play • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, or under Payments & subscriptions in Google Play • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or platform policy

The Selah app, its design, software, and original content are owned by Y7 Technology LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Bible translations included in the app are public domain or used under license and remain subject to their own terms and attributions. You may use the Service for personal study. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the app or its software.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated reflections will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Y7 Technology LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or abuse the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan, except where applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect 30 days after we post notice; non-material changes take effect immediately. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notice or on our website. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
