Selah is a Bible companion. It has three parts: • Today — a verse for the day and a way back into whatever you were last reading. • Read — the full biblical text, bundled in the app and readable with no connection. • Ask — you ask a question in your own words; Selah retrieves relevant passages and answers on the basis of them. Reading, saved verses, and your place in the text stay on your device.

The commentary in Selah is generated by an AI model. Scripture is not. • Every verse Selah shows you is retrieved verbatim from a trusted text. The AI does not write, paraphrase, or invent Scripture. If a reference cannot be resolved against the text, Selah discards it rather than guessing. • AI commentary is always visually separated from Scripture — different typeface, its own label — so you can tell at a glance which is which. • Where traditions read a passage differently, Selah presents the range rather than picking a side. Selah is not a pastor, a priest, or a counselor, and it does not claim spiritual authority. It is a study aid. For pastoral care, please speak to a person in your own community. Selah does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country.

Selah bundles public-domain translations so that reading works fully offline: • World English Bible (English) • 口語訳 (Japanese) • Korean • Reina-Valera (Spanish) • Almeida (Portuguese) Deuterocanonical books are named in the interface but their text is not yet included. Selah will not quote a text it does not have.

Selah works without an account. When you first open the app it signs you in anonymously so your questions and history can be saved; you can also sign in with Apple or Google if you want them to follow you across devices. You can delete your account and history at any time from Settings. What we collect, and why, is set out in full in the Privacy Policy.

Every feature of Selah is free. There is no paywall, no locked chapter, and no feature that appears only after payment. Supporters can subscribe to help fund development. A subscription does not unlock anything — it is support, not access. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. To change or cancel one, open the Settings app on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If Selah gives you an answer that misquotes Scripture, misattributes a reference, or misrepresents a tradition, please tell us at support@y7technology.com and include the question you asked. Quotation errors are the failure we care most about. Please report them even if they seem minor.

Selah runs on iOS 13.0 and later. The Read section works with no connection. Ask requires a connection, because the answer is generated on request.
